Algieri went through fire to beat Provo and he represents America proudly and is an honorable man. He deserves a shot the big times.
Nothing against Algeri. Seems like a cool guy

Comments Thread For: Arum: Pacquiao vs. Algieri in Serious Talks For 11/22

According to Top Rank's CEO Bob Arum, a formal offer has been made to WBO 140-pound champion Chris Algieri (20-0, 8KOs) to face Manny Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38KOs), the WBO beltholder at welterweight, on November 22nd in Macau, China.

Arum and Algieri's promoter, Joe DeGuardia told the New York Daily News that an agreement could be reached in the coming days.

"I hope we'll be able to get Joe on the phone and we'll be able to button this up," Arum said in a phone interview. "We're talking serious now with the idea of making the fight. It's not bull****. Now, whether it gets made or not I don't know."

Now they do because he beat Provo and rightfully deserves a big payday. What has salka done to face the #1 Jr welterweight? Be honest with your feelings and I pray you find Jesus to help you remove all the hate and anger in your heart. Best wishes and peace be with you always.

He is a true rocky story. A young man full filling his dream of becoming world champion and now will fight the greatest athlete of this era.

Boxing truly is a great rags to riches story. I absolutely love it.

He was ranked a top contender for provos belt. He fought his way to the top undefeated. He is a true American hero and inspiration.
