While he make look like a Satanic horse man I'm highly dubious about this "Al Haymon is the devil" bull**** although the fact that Garcia's fighting Salka is completely insane. Utter madness.

He is absolutely terrible for the sport. If he tapped up players like he does boxers in any other sport he would be banned. The guy's a crook and will only damge the sport in the long run. The question is, how much?

Ive already given my opinion and risked my life exposing the truth about this crime lord on the what is al haymon planning thread

                Poll to come.

                Discuss....

                Short-term, he benefits the boxer.

Given Al Haymon's history of providing horrible fights, he is definitely bad for boxing. These mismatches plus overpaying the boxers will cause everyone (from the promoters, the networks, and the fans) to lose $$.

He is not good for the promoters or the networks. Just witness GBP, HBO, SHOW to make profits from this. Long term wise, network will find other promoters to work with.

But overall he's bad for the sport, because there are too many mismatches. Fans want competitive fights.
                    agree....

                    not only that...

he's a shady type who does not fully comply with the established norms of doing business...

what the al & rs tandem did to gbp is like a stab at oskie's back...

oskie being a druggie is no reason enough for them to do such thing...

it is like kicking a man already down on the ground....
