While he make look like a Satanic horse man I'm highly dubious about this "Al Haymon is the devil" bull**** although the fact that Garcia's fighting Salka is completely insane. Utter madness.
Is Al Haymon's INVOLVEMENT IN BOXING a GOOD or BAD Thing?

He is absolutely terrible for the sport. If he tapped up players like he does boxers in any other sport he would be banned. The guy's a crook and will only damge the sport in the long run. The question is, how much?

He's good for the people he works with and bad for his competition, this usually happens when a man attains power.
Big Dunn has k!.lled the competition today almost every post Ive read has been on point. Stay embarrassing these fools.Comment

Short-term, he benefits the boxer.
Given Al Haymon's history of providing horrible fights, he is definitely bad for boxing. These mismatches plus overpaying the boxers will cause everyone (from the promoters, the networks, and the fans) to lose $$.Comment

agree....Originally posted by Freedom2014He was good for some of the fighters, at least until recently. Boxers like Berto and Arreola weren't really wold-class, yet they were very well-paid.
But overall he's bad for the sport, because there are too many mismatches. Fans want competitive fights.
not only that...
he's a shady type who does not fully comply with the established norms of doing business...
what the al & rs tandem did to gbp is like a stab at oskie's back...
oskie being a druggie is no reason enough for them to do such thing...
it is like kicking a man already down on the ground....Comment
