I truly don't think so. I think almost every move Floyd made from his return up until he fought Mosley -- both word and deed -- indicated that the man he wanted to fight was Pacquiao.

2010, definitely. I argued P@ctard style against Mayweather then, but that was because I truly believed the drug testing would end up not mattering and the fight would happen later that year. Pac's completely to blame for it not happening that time.

Since then? Pac's wanted it since Marquez 3, I think, but never enough to make the stand he'd have to. And Mayweather's made about half a dozen excuses since that first negotiation.

Depending on what you think an excuse is, they've both had a million of them. What we do know is that when they actually negotiated, he proposed a very fair deal which was turned down.

The OSDT was what broke up the deal. At the time Mayweather never asked anyone to do it before. Until Pacquiao. At the time I felt PAC not accepting was fishy but then came all the other excuses when they tried to negotiate again and that's why I feel like Floyd would have came up with something else even if Manny had agreed the first time.

What about it? You're talking about things that happened years later, after PPV #'s showed that Manny was a lesser draw and not to mention the KO heard round the world. As Mayweather said, there would be no even split after 2010. But that's neither here nor there...none of this happened during negotiation. During negotiation, Manny Pacquiao walked away from 50-50. Talking about crap told to the media or whatever really doesn't matter.
