You're right, we don't know. We don't know one way or the other. And you don't know and aren't making sense with your ignorant blowout predictions (which is more provocateur trolling than anything.)

All we have to go on is their overall body of work and Wlad's work continued beyond 2002 or 2005. Wlad isn't the same fighter that he was in those 3 loses and has mitigated whatever flaws he had, from stamina issues (by fighting more conservative aka more effective using his experience, to perhaps being in better shape as well), chin issues (by using better defense), to straighter punching with moderate footwork while keeping a tall posture.

And yet both guys have flaws and have gotten knocked out against lesser fighters.

Good catch, but perhaps out of reassurance that Povetkin can't throw a proper uppercut? What round was that in? Surely he already had a feeling out process and has gotten used to what Povetkin can and cannot throw his way.

Either you're gonna credit Wlad with some good holding/wrestling or you aren't, since according to you, that's the primary reason he is winning his fights.

Scared to do anything but jab... Knocks him unconscious for 5 minutes... Close enough

In those red shorts and tiny gif, Wlad looks like Pacman, except he can't throw a 1000 punches and instead picks his opponent apart with hard jabs and straight rights, until they're ready to go or if they get caught prematurely and get KO'd anyway. And if it doesn't happen, he still gets to win every round and coast to a Unanimous decision knowing that what he is doing isn't losing him any rounds. If it isn't broke, don't' fix it, no matter what the collective peanut gallary says (e.g. He needs to throw more punches, He needs to throw to the body, he needs to go for a first round knockout against overmatched opponents <--as if his style ever was that of a Iron Mike Tyson).

Look at the Chagaev fight today. He didn't look good. Yet Klittards say Chagaev is one of Wlad's best wins.

What has Chagaev done since losing to Wlad? Lose to Povetkin?

Dr. Whatever telling people to "shut up" from your room in mommy's house in Germany is so brave of you! If you disagree that's ok but when your speaking to adults try to act like one when you speak.
              Ray.
Oh you're being quite personal. If you rate Wladimir Klitschko's technique as "clumsy" you have nothing to do in here. Deal with it...

And of course, your're a far beter expert than Emmanuel Steward, who even said that Wladimir Klitschko has " the best straight right hand he has ever seen", to say that Klitschko is clumsy. Man you're harming my brain!!

                    Pretty much.

I'm fed up of these lauding/baiting threads now. Wladimir is a great HW, we all know that. There's no need to keep comparing him to other ATGs.

So what if this particular HW era isn't as great as others; Wlad still dominated and it's not his fault that the division is starved of live, competitive match ups. He can only beat who's in front of him.

This kind of **** is getting old.

Is Wlad a top 10 ATG at HW?
