Either you're gonna credit Wlad with some good holding/wrestling or you aren't, since according to you, that's the primary reason he is winning his fights.
Lennox is an even more advanced clincher than Wlad. He did it to guys much stronger than Povetkin, and even did it to Wlads much bigger Brother Vitali. Lennox didnt just "hug" he punished you with an uppercut while your head was down there.

This is Wlad when he tries to clinch the master

A poster by the name of Magnassaki who sparred with both Lewis & Wlad, said that it would start as a cagey fight but Lewis would finish it with an uppercut.

Wlad is as cautious as a fighter comes. If you're scared to do anything but jab someone like Eddie Chambers when you're in your absolute prime, imagine how scared you'd be when Lennox Lewis is in front of you.

I can't fathom how people can deduce Wlad would beat Lennox on the basis of him beating guys like the guys on his resume.
im in the minority of people who gives wlad a good chance of beating lennox. wlads much more cautious against guys that get low and crouch down,,,or also against southpaws as he has to reach down. hes always been more aggressive against guys his height and seems more comfortable letting the right hand go against the taller more conventional fighters. don't get me wrong,,,lennox was a beast and very well may have iced wlad but I think wlad would have almost as good a chance of catching lewis at some point and knocking him out

well,,,lennox has never been in with a guy with wlads size,,,punching power and athletic ability combination so its kind of a wash imo. wlad hits much much harder than vitali and vitali did shake lewis with a right hand early in the fight

What has Chagaev done since losing to Wlad? Lose to Povetkin?
chageav was a much better fighter when he fought wlad and he was 20 lbs lighter. he was a washed up fat slob tonite. its pretty obvious to watch

it's hard to compare. Rahman in with both said corrie sanders hit him harder then anyone, ray mercer who said after his loss to wlad that lennox hit much harder but he also said tommy Morrison hit him harder then anyone else... phil Jackson got one punch ko's by Dominick guinn in like 20 seconds... he isn't a guy who should be making comparisons...

Anybody who thinks that Lennox and WK isn't something close to a 50/50 fight is out of there mind.

Lewis was outboxed first and then pasted by Rahman and McCall, struggled with Holyfield and Mercer.

It's unreasonable to not think WK, 2ce the fighter as any of those could not possibly win.

In my opinion, I feel Lewis will force Wlad to brawl and finish it on the inside. The reason being is, Wlad does not like to get hit. He can take a flush shot here or there (ala against David Haye) but he can take when fighters hurt him and stay there and continue to do so. Wlad cannot get away with the crap he did against Povetkin against Lewis. It would probably start off very cagey for the early rounds, but I see Lewis roughing Wlad up on the inside before ending it with an uppercut.

Lewis was very unique in a sense that his greatest weakness was himself, he showed in both Mccall & Rahman rematches that when he was motivated and focused no one could have beaten him. Remember, he was avoided by both Bowe & Tyson.
