Floyd would be destroyed. Only boxing fan boys see any different. If Mayweather were early 30's and trained in MMA for two solid two years then I would give him a shot. At this point he would be a fish out of water and be taken down so easily.

How is Floyd going to manage to stay out of takedown range while also being in punching range? Surely you realize that by the time you are in range to land a right hand, you are within the range to be taken down.

One thing I'm glad about. At least we all seem to agree a male MMA fighter would toy with Floyd and we're having a passionate debate over how badly a girl would beat him instead.

Why do boxing fans get so insecure and upbeat when people say a female MMA fighter would beat a male boxer at MMA? Sounds like common sense. Rousey would have Mayweather on WSHH in a matter of seconds.

I saw her beat that chick in 16 seconds and its possible that Floyd would be stopped in even less time.

Of course Floyd would win in a boxing fight but in a street fight with no rules, he would be unconscious as soon as Rousey judo flipped him on the sidewalk

That's exactly the point. The best MMA fighters male or female don't stand a chance IMCV. Not the chance they're being given. This isn't an 80 year old James Toney we're talking about. This is one of the greatest distance controllers in the history of boxing. I'd like to see one of these MMA guys try and catch Floyd. Pure hilarity.

Oh I think the average guy who trains MMA at my gym (which I don't) would put Floyd's life in danger.

If someone starts saying Floyd would beat professional male MMA fighters I just assume they're joking around. Floyd is not a fighter, he is a sports athlete. Some boxers are raw fighters. Floyd is not. He wins by utilizing the rules of boxing to his advantage. His skills have as much relevance to MMA as ping pong or frisbee.

Ronda vs Floyd is the more interesting debate just because of that whole gender variable.

Well, in a street fight with "no rules" you can pull hair, bite, gouge eyes, use weapons, ect. People who think MMA fighters are Gods in street fights often forget this, no technique can help you against a brick coming at your teeth or having your eyes gouged.


In a MMA bout......well Venus Williams could beat Floyd and Manny both in a tennis match; different sports.
