Floyd wouldn't last 1 round in the cage with her, not one. These internet warriors have zero clue. I been around these mma fighters too long not to understand what they are capable of. They have earned my respect.
Its because boxing fans don't get it, MMA is a whole different animal.
The same guys that use to outwork me in the ring sparring , wouldn't dare step in the cage with me. (Been practicing Judo for 13 years and JJ for 8).
Foot work is different, stance and cadence is different as well. Floyd wouldn't know what to do once he is clinched up (and he will get clinched up unless he literally RUNS from her).
Once she throws him its over.
This isn't a boxing match, No one disputes that Floyd would DESTROY her in a boxing match. This is a brawl. He would get a limb snapped off.
James toney was shot to ****. No athleticism just a fat tub of lard has been. Disgraced boxing by fighting MMA passed his prime. Get a young prime elite boxing champ and see if he don't clean up in MMA in his comparable weight division.
HAHAHAHAHA and how would a prime elite boxing champ stop that low pick? He wouldn't.
That was a 46 year old doing that low pick, now picture a 26 year old man in his prime doing that same pick.
Boxer would get ****ING SMASHED in an MMA fight.
Put a Prime Mayweather against Anthony Pettis and lets see what happens.
I like boxing more than MMA but know practically every pro MMA fighter would beat on practically every pro boxer IN AN MMA FIGHT.
If I said Tiger Woods probably wouldn't do very well in the NHL would I be a "traitor to golf", or would I just be saving him from being paralyzed/killed? They are two different sports.
I like how everybody who knows knows no body here calls everybody "internet warriors" "never seen the inside of a gym" Yada Yada yada. Man I'd love to hit the gym with some of y'all. Boxing weight lifting anything....everyone's all talk.
The footwork in the sweet science is completely useless in any other context because it defends against neither takedowns nor kicks. In fact the footwork boxers learn is one of the most difficult habits to break when they cross over into kickboxing or MMA.
