I love how people are acting like Matthysse has fought some crazy awesome competition, lets not forget his last fight was supposed to be easy, he was fighting a guy who was stopped in 30 seconds by someone that Broner destroyed.

Matthysse fanboys are ******, you guys don’t know boxing, which is why when I was saying Garcia was going to tax his ass, all of you reacted the same way.

He’s a decent brawler, thats it, his chin is suspect, he got knocked down an equal amount of times against a smaller fighter compared to Broner who fought the more larger talented fighter.

Imagine what people would be saying about Broner if he went life and death with an ESPN caliber fighter?

Uhhh yeah first of all that molina/demarco stoppage was absolutely horrible everyone agrees on that. By the way molina is a big puncher. Its a 50/50 fight, when both fighters stepped it up, they got handled pretty easily.

Both showed tremendous flaws in their last fights, Matthysses fight just happened to be far more entertaining.

I’m not a Broner fan, I’m just making the case that Matthysse hasn’t done much more in this sport that Broner. The bias in this thread is strong, obviously everyone hates Broner and likes Matthysse but lets not make predictions based on favoritism.

(I didn't go along with the Matthysse hype and predicted 50/50 in the Garcia fight.) But Broner is in graver danger in this fight. Matthysse could finish where Maidana left off. Matthysse also has good stamina and doesn't have to walk down Broner to execute his combos. Broner doesn't trade/counter. He only fires when the opponent stops firing, and that's his biggest problem with a guy like Matthysse.

True good points. Check my post on the previous page. Lucas not throwing enough volume will be an advantage for broner. It would be a very good match up.
