Matthysse-Broner possible co-feature for Mayweather-Maidana 2

Broner doesn't move, lacks footwork and head movement....I expect Matthysse to catch him. They need to stack the undercard to sell this rematch.

This is why I think this fight might happen. Showtime will lose money for the third time with Floyd if it's not. Mayweather vs Maidana and Broner vs Matthysse with another two fights is what they're gonna need.

I would love to see this fight. I just don't see any way whatsoever that Broner wins. He has mediocre footwork & he doesn't have enough power to **** with Matthysse. Broner would deserve huge credit for taking this fight though.

When will you guys learn to not make predictions based on personal feelings about a dude? This thread is almost a carbon copy of the Garcia vs. Matthysee thread a year ago.

Anyways, Matthysee has a serious problem with counter punchers and Broner is a very good counter puncher so he's EASILY the favorite for this fight if it happens. Anyone who's seen Lucas fight knows that the only thing special about the dude is his power. Everything else is average at best. The only way i see Matthysee winning is if he throws at least 50+ punches per round. Broners two toughest fights (Paulie & Maidana) were against dudes that threw a insane amount of punches.

Surprised people are picking Matthysse to stop him. Something Maidana who is bigger and as hard of a puncher couldn't do.

I think Maidana is proven more to have the wear you down KO power whereas Matthysse possesses that One Punch KO' power.

Personally I think a 140lb Matthysse hits much more precisely and harder than a 140 Chino ever did.

The thing is though Broner doesn't have good footwork. And Broner doesn't have anywhere near enough power to do much damage to Matthysse. Also, Garcia has an iron chin, while Broner has shown he can be knocked down. Maybe I'll be proven wrong, but I just don't see how Broner wins unless he works on his footwork for this fight.

I can't see any way that Broner wins, bar a freak one punch KO.
He doesn't have the workrate or footwork to outbox Lucas nor the power or pressure to stop him. Most people believe he beat Alexander and Judah who are both quicker and better boxers than Broner.
