On the nuevo herald miami newspaper in spanish he said he was worried about the absence of any anti doping testing.Considering the fact that he was the one linked to a clinic linked to PEDs i would think there should have been testing up the wazoo.

Man, this is some b/s. Either the sport needs to get serious about testing or just let everything go smh.

Yup, but he is asking the questions why there was no testing when they where supposed to himself seems odd, but id think a guy who has never tested positive, but was linked to shady **** should want to keep being tested to prove he wasn't bull****ting about not taking peds. Probably he wouldn't have missed the testing if he didn't get his ass beat anyway But i think this is personal for him he wants to be tested.

Boxing is probably only a step up from pro wrestling when it comes to regulation. There's not enough money to fund regular testing, and nobody gives a damn anyway.

Yeah, I think Gamboa was looking forward to being tested. Not that it really matters, in my opinion. There are ways to test clean, even if you're dirty. (Not to say Yuri is dirty, of course.)

All I'm seeing regarding Gamboa's tweets are comments like "props to Gamboa for taking the loss like a man" or "props to Gamboa for not making excuses."

Am I the only one here that finds it utterly depressing that we now live in a society where professional athletes who get beat up for a living are now apologizing to fans for losing a fight?

                      ****ing hell, that's sad.
