FCKNG ******. how did he come unified champ again? remind me? I forgot.

beercules flat out ducked this lol
Jesus you need help, he was referring to Canelo fighting the 30 cab drivers before he took the belt from Trout, not to mention the old men and WW's he beat up also.

Trout is Canelos best win to date.

i seen replay of the Floyd vs Canelo fight and Canelo looks sluggish with someone moving, but when Canelo did get Floyd to the ropes and unleashed his combination punches, Floyd literally blocked all of them. Canelo is smart he utilized some head control also so Floyd couldn't counter as much as he liked, the only thing he could do is just get out of there. The only thing i don't like about Lara is he shells up when on the ropes which might get Canelo the openings he needs, One difference between Floyd and Lara is i really dont think people understand how elusive Floyd is. What i really want to see is if Canelo gets hit with Laras Straight left hand and starts to swell up how he deals with adversity or if Lara starts feeling guns hy because Canelo is more than he excepted. I really am torn on who to pick, i keep having different scenarios play in my head.

The difference? Canelo was not fighting off his back foot trying to counter, he was getting off first, and with vicious combos.

For Lara to say Canelo's win over Angulo was nothing special just makes him sound like a complete troll for two reasons:

        1. No one has EVER done that to Angulo before.
        2. What does Lara think his win over Angulo was? Some kind of madterpiece? C'mon now!

I rest my case, feel free to chime in!

Canelo's power is vastly overrated. His stops of taxi drivers, bartenders and taco vendors along with inflated lightweights and what not are exaggerated.

Angulo took each and every power punch from him. Kirkland repeatedly hurt Angulo. Lara KD'd of Trout was a one brutal straight left that put him down good and seriously hurt Austin. Canelo's KD of Trout was a 1-2 combo that landed solid but not as brutal as Lara's.

I see Lara out boxing Canelo for the first 6 rounds, and start gradual pressure (boxing-punching, similar on what he did to Trout) on Alvarez and stopping him due to swell/cuts/punishment later on the fight or wining a clear UD.

Angulo vs Kirkland was a tide turning fight. Canelo Angulo was a one sided slaughter, a sacrifice to a higher force.

If you want to think the two are the same then hey...I can only bring you (the horse) to the water, I can't make you drink it.

I never said that they were the same, I used similar sized boxers on same weight divisions with a common opponent. May be not 100% valid BUT, still has weight and could be open for discussion and debate.

It's not 100% valid through self admission. Therefore not admissible in the court of boxing.

                    Case closed.

And for the record, Canelo > Lara in the power category, even Stevie Wonder can see that. As admitted by many Lara fans.

So I don't know where you were going with your whole speech. Seems like a leaky bucket to me.

Canelo put Trout down with one solid straight right there was no combination. He threw a jab to set up the straight right, but he had no intention of landing more of a feint to set up that right.
