Okay, I've watched Angulo/Lara & Angulo/Canelo multiple times...

Same exact Angulo in both fights. Go watch. Same guy, same game plan, same punches.

The difference? Canelo was not fighting off his back foot trying to counter, he was getting off first, and with vicious combos.

For Lara to say Canelo's win over Angulo was nothing special just makes him sound like a complete troll for two reasons:

1. No one has EVER done that to Angulo before.
2. What does Lara think his win over Angulo was? Some kind of madterpiece? C'mon now!

This fight is a 50/50 for a reason. Can Canelo get to Lara and hurt him bad or will Lara take Canelo to school? This is why this fight is so intriguing.

I personally think Canelo's still improving as a fighter and can reach new levels, The fact that he took this fight speaks volumes. Would I be shocked if Lara took him to school? Hell no, Lara's a great fighter and a win over Saul would get him the recognition he's seeking.

Canelo beat the brakes off Angulo, while Lara suffered a couple of scares in a closer bout. I don't think there's much argument there. But did you really think they fought the same Perro? I only watched each fight once. Honestly, I don't have the desire to watch either one again. (I'd rather re-watch episodes of "Breaking Bad" or something. lol) It seemed to me Alvarez fought an Angulo who was not the same relentless machine that caught up with Landy. Anyway, the beauty of this is that the fight is fast approaching and we'll soon have our answers.
