It's not 100% valid through self admission. Therefore not admissible in the court of boxing.
Case closed.
And for the record, Canelo > Lara in the power category, even Stevie Wonder can see that. As admitted by many Lara fans.
So I don't know where you were going with your whole speech. Seems like a leaky bucket to me.
I was arguing or discussing that there may be an exaggeration of Canelo's punching power. What I think its taking place is that some Alvarez' fans are seeing an accumulation of punishment vs punching power. If you tell me that Canelo breaks you down with accumulation of punches, I will agree, but when you tell me that he knocks buildings with one punch then I'm going to laugh.
Now, just to clear things a bit, ANY boxer may have ONE punch KO power if he lands right on the button on the right angle, and in the right circumstances. Keep in mind that this is the exception and not the rule.Comment

Same exact Angulo in both fights. Go watch. Same guy, same game plan, same punches.
The difference? Canelo was not fighting off his back foot trying to counter, he was getting off first, and with vicious combos.
For Lara to say Canelo's win over Angulo was nothing special just makes him sound like a complete troll for two reasons:
1. No one has EVER done that to Angulo before.
2. What does Lara think his win over Angulo was? Some kind of madterpiece? C'mon now!
I rest my case, feel free to chime in!Comment
