Meh...I heard that the WBO prez already had a prior engagement which is why he declined. You really can't be mad at someone because of that.Comment

Forget about what color belts and that other trash, for YEARS the WBC represented all that's was WRONG with boxing. The WBC initiated all this hideous "Belt Craze" we have today when they lost that $31 mil law suit for trying to screw Graciano Rocchigiani out of his title years ago, in 1998. Daddy Suliaman went nuts creating "titles" of all kinds in order to keep living LARGE and pay the $31 mil judgement!! The Paco Valcarcel/WBO wants to end this title belt madness while the WBC continues to fatten their pocket$ at our expense creating MORE of them!! Wake up!!Comment

What? Very ****** comment! Mikey Garcia, Pacman, Crawford, Klit, Rigondeaux... are WBO champs. The gutless/corrupt WBC allows Floyd to hold 154Lb title he dosen't man up to defend against the TRUE to contenders nor will he give it up. LMAO!!Comment

So when are the WBO going to stop handing out interim titles, super championships and champion of the decade belts? Absolute hypocrits.
The IBF are the only ones to actually have a decent policy, 1 champ and no interim belts, and regular enforced mandatories with same day weigh ins. Theyve made bad decisions themselves, i.e with Peterson, but theyre the closest thing to a respectable body.
The WBC and WBA dont even care how corrupt they are anymore. I give them credit for the summit though.. The unification tournament sounds greatComment

Might be worth looking at just how FEW WBO interims there are, as far as I'm aware they have 1 super champion and 1 interim. In the division where they have a Super champion they don't have another champion which in the division where they have an interim they've been waiting all year for the champion and his mandatory to sort their crap outSo when are the WBO going to stop handing out interim titles, super championships and champion of the decade belts? How can you make a bold statement regarding interim titles, yet have some of your own? The super champion policy they have was a carbon copy of the WBA's policy, up until the WBA spawning 50 more belts. They dont have a leg to stand on when it comes to useless belts.Might be worth looking at just how FEW WBO interims there are, as far as I'm aware they have 1 super champion and 1 interim. The WBO were 'legitimised' in the sport by powerful promoters. Its no coincidence you find most Top Rank fighters fighting for WBO titles. Frank Warren had the same arrangement when he was relevant. Unfortunately I have to agree with Sulaiman on this one (shudder). The WBO still arent recognised in many parts of the world, Japan for example, and non participation in the summit seems counter intuitive to me.Comment

What an irony. Dinero is one of those butt hurt Rigo fans and he does not even knew that his idol is a WBO champ? How patheticComment
