Have you forgotten the WBO Champion of the Decade belt? Watch Pac-Marquez 4.

The IBF dont have interim champs, youd be looking at a really obscure scenarip where youd ever find one of those.

As for the case in Japan, i wasnt aware the WBO gained recognition in Japan... I knew the IBF only recently has. Can you point me to sanctioned WBO title fights in Japan?
The JBC accepted in 2012 that it would start recognising the WBO titles as of April 1, 2013, though apparently not the international or regional titles, just the world tiles.

@techliam With all due respects, it's not about "moral high horses", I'm saying that at least Valcarcel is CORRECT in signaling out the "titles" problem, and we older fans know that it went to super EXTREMES when the Suliaman/WBC lost $31 mil suit for one of their many their corrupt deeds. They've had other suits against them in the past but have found ways to settle. NONE of these orgs are innocent, but none more than the WBC and the old 1970/80s WBA.

I agree theres a title problem. Perhaps the WBO should have brought the issue up at the summit instead of making public, and therefore clearly politically motivated speeches without actually doing anything.

techliam You do make a valid point. Although his stance on the "titles" issue might've fallen a deft ears at least it would've be formally presented and addressed.
