Canelo is one of my favourite fighters. He is a ****ing machine and a real fighter. Back in the day a guy like Canelo would be respected beyond measure. These days you lose to the best fighter the world has probably ever known and suddenly your less than awesome. Obviously that's not right.

I used to not think highly of him during his Cintron, Baldomir, Mathew Hatton days, but after he stepped it up the kid never looked back. He also fought the winner of whatever fight he scouted, even when the winner wasn't who he thought it'd be. He's kept his word and continues to fight who is who on his weight class.

Can't find a reason to hate on him, he's trying to do what Oscar did during his prime. I wish he had the foot and hand speed of Oscar, though!

I do think he has achieved allot for his age (23) so that alone needs to be respected.

I think a move to MW is what he severely needs and when he does I expect him to start knocking people the **** out. He is just too big for LMW.

^This pretty much sums it up. I used to not like Canelo much if anything at all because his resume pre-Trout was garbage and very hype. But now he's facing mother****ing Erislandy Lara. After fighting Trout, Mayweather, and Angulo. Fighters in his weight class.

Trout and now he's fighting at 155 again not at 153 or 152.
