I'm not even a fan of Canelo and I'm going for Lara, but I got nothing but respect for Canelo as far as his attitude of wanting to fight the best, he brings the right mental approach to the ring.

But this may be a case of letting his pride get in the way of what's best for his career.

Hell if he was to win it would be the biggest win of his career, if not then he needs to take it down more than a few notches and focus on who he actually is instead of imagining a future where boxing is Canelo. I think Mayweather making him his son gave him a few of his traits the difference is Mayweather has earned the right to talk all that **** Canelo has nothing to back it up with literally at all he has 0 on Lara resume wise. The only reason he can be so arrogant is because he knows he has the right backing and he has the hype on his side and he loves it of course but has obviously made him arrogant to a ludicrous degree.

Hey my son i owned you so hard you down to dkcriding?
lol yeah you owned me. keep telling yourself that as you eat burgers and drive yourself around in your wheel-chair scooter haaahaahah

I own all of you idiots by myself, that's how ****** you are.

So basically it's retaliation for something that could've happened to Lara, as far as him saying he wanted to be great?

Of course he hasn't done anything yet so justify being great, he's only 23. In 2 weeks you might not have to listen to him talk about being great anymore we'll see how that plays out. Btw Beating Lara would be the biggest win on most guys resume.

Fate will tell, and he has all the reason to think as he does i never said he didn't, because he has everything going for him, and if the skill matches his backing and the push and hype he has behind him everything he says is possible, but is still nothing but verbal diarrhea at this point in time. Probably anybody with such hype behind him being that young would buy into it, but as I said believing in it too much is detrimental. We have seen that bite fighters in the ass many times over. I think loosing would be as good as a Win in terms of growth is not like GBP will abandon their cash cow anyways even if he looses, as long as he learns not to let that that hype and expectation go to his head he will be much better than what he is now. Remember we are talking about the guy who tried to outbox Mayweather here if that's not a sign of self delusion idk what is.

If he tries to outbox Lara as he did against Mayweather I'll have to agree with what your saying. However, I think that loss will benefit his growth and made it clear he's not outboxing everyone he faces and should expand his game to beat all styles.

              Any other questions?

I agree, he is willing to fight the best in his division. You got to love that in a young fighter like Canelo.

Canelo has reason to be confident, he 's going to win the fight. That left hook is going to be the decision-maker. If Angulo was able to land it and score two knockdowns you know it's going to be a long night for Lara.
