I criticized Canelo heavily prior to the Trout fight because of the careful matchmaking and the titles he was gifted but now he's behaving like all professional prize fighters should. There is no "let me consult with Al Haymon" with this guy. With Canelo its "Get me Trout", "Get me Mayweather", "Get me Lara".

    Props to the kid.

I think he was unfairly criticized prior to Trout because he legitmatly tried to fight guys like Cotto, Kirkland, Williams, etc. IDK why people overlook that. At the same time now, I think he's getting too much credit for the guys he's fighting. Why should he not fight any of these guys and why should he fear anyone that he's fought? There is no legit reason for him not to fight them

Well maybe it was his handlers that deserved the criticism as opposed to Canelo himself but what was going on was garbage. How many title eliminators did they make Vanes go through? And he still never got his shot. And that's not a fighter I believe should have been avoided at all. Canelo was perfectly capable of beating him.

But on All Access, you saw Oscar didn't want to make this fight but Canelo demanded it. He could have pulled the "I fight whoever they put in front of me card" but he wanted to take on the best fighters out there.

Hes extremely arrogant talking as if he is on MAB level about his legacy, but is ok he obviously needs to be knocked down a couple of more notches and Lara will oblige.

              They are both plenty arrogant.

Im talking about the specific interviews Canelo does thinking he is Neo or some **** he believes his own hype Lara's arrogance is just he believes in his heart he will whoop Canelo. Canelo's arrogance is he thinks he is going to be the best mexican fighter to ever walk this earth. They are two different levels of arrogance if you ask me.

He's small for MW, I don't think he fares well there when he finally moves up. Time will tell though.

I have Lara winning this fight, possibly wide.
