That stuff is getting expensive - I figured it was going to flop - I mean they had Papito as chief support. These promoters need to care about adding some value to the undercard.

I also think that the expectation that Cotto was going to get brutalized played an impact

And man - the amount of PPVs this year so far has been enormous and we just hit the halfway point. Still have 2x Canelo, Mayweather and Pac left.

Hopefully 2015 we see some contraction on the PPV. I remember HBO or some provider saying that they do not like the PPV model - althought I could understand why the fighters want it, since it's how they maximize their earning potential.

The only reason i care about ppv numbers is because a lot of the time reflects on the state of boxing as a sport. This **** right here surprisingly no bueno.

its a real bad number canelo-angulo did the same numbers and that was two guys coming off a loss. The funny thing is Bob wants to make cotto-bradley on hbo ppv thatll do even less lol.

Yep last year there were only 4 boxing ppvs and they all did solid numbers.
