Salido is a known PED user..and probably ruined Juan Manuel Lopez' career with his PED use but nobody seemed to care about that... Lomachenko should have never even fought him...Arum has a history of not protecting fighters and putting his own fighters against known cheats just to keep in-house fights going...and Salido was Arum's best effort at in-house fights.

I'm assuming now we're going to see Top Rank v. Top Rank and Al Haymon fighter vs. Al Haymon fighter for a while now unless fights like this happen where purse bids are won?

Lomachenko clearly won the fight..the fact that one judge had it a tie shows that the judges are a joke and continue to keep the sport as a marginal sport.
Lomanchenko had deadly intentions on every punch, especially going to the body. You don't see body work like that in the amateurs

No keep him in the deep end, its a waste of Vasyl's skill to stick him in with B, B+ fighters. He's got the talent to stay with the big boys.

Cong**** to Vasyl. I was hoping Russel would win but good fight, hope both keep stepping forward.

Fight went a lot like I felt like it would. GRJ had not fought anyone in his pro career to prepare him for someone with the skillset and lateral movement of Lomachenko, and those damn body shots were a thing of beauty. And for those mentioning Salido, we all know the low blows were countless and that his ass was almost knocked out in the 12th round, even though he had blown up prior. Deal with it, haters.

              Now trending

The search for the next Mayweather continues...mofo's were so sure Russell was going to take this. It was a 50/50 on paper, until Lomachenko let his hands go. Speed is great but if you have nothing behind it then it doesn't mean shhh. Russell is going to have to be very very selective on who his opponents are from here on out, back to the tin cans I guess.

Lomachenko was using a lot of lateral movement Russell wasn't effective closing distance to land meaningful punches

Loma did it, but I will say, it was more Russell couldn't do it. Russell let a guy 1-1 beat him, no wonder he never tried to move up in competition. It's Lomachenko's night, he looked good.
