If he really wants that rematch he better be in the gym in Argentina...this mofo has prolly ballooned back to up to the high 170's like he usually does. Marcos is a latin version of hillbilly, he's happier at a ranch busting gats at this stage of his life than in the gym putting in work and that's dangerous as a fighter. I really like Maidana but he's shown he's got horrible discipline in terms of keeping himself in shape between fights.
See this attitude around... No, Maidana has not blown up.

In the white shorts. He just did a charity event. Looks in decent shape to me.

He means as far as being in a fight. He wasn't hurt in the fight. The boxing was challenging I'm sure but he wasn't tested in that way that some of his other opponents have done.

Broner made maidana work more, and Maidana was expecting something more from Mayweather.
      Outboxed him on several occasions.

Made him work more how? By letting him tee off on his face?

Broner was clearly beaten by Maidana whilst being dropped twice.

      Mayweather beat Maidana.

7-5 Maidana. I could see 6-6 at best.

Only interested if maidana gets to wear the punchers gloves. If he's forced to fight in pillows again I won't be getting it.

Not a stretch at all to say that was a tie fight. Lots of close rounds and depends what you score, flash or firepower.

If Maidana doesn't need or want to fight while waiting on Floyd's decision, then I can see not being in a hurry. But if he wants to stay sharp and he wants to get paid, waiting on Floyd is a potential waste of time. Frankly, considering the difficulty Maidana gave him with his boxing and his dirty tactics, I'd be surprised if Mayweather gives him a rematch.

I think the Cotto rematch is Floyd's most dangerous option right now.
