we get so used to floyd blowing guys out once we see a close fight everyones outta wack, floyd won clearly albeit a close decision
Just stop. He absolutely does. It was the closest anyone has been since Castillo and considering the Oscar fight exists, that's saying alot.

I love how he left unimpressed with Floyd.

    WAR Maidana!!

If Maidana didn't earn a rematch then who **** could? You'd have to KO him.

7-5 Maidana. I could see 6-6 at best.

Canelo was more effective against Floyd than Maidana in terms of landing real punches and not allowing Floyd to land clean shots. Maidana was more effective in terms of ****** **** that impresses the ignorant, uneducated fight fans that seem to be infesting the sport nowadays.

I'm not 100% certain on this but I don't think Maidana is with Haymon which means Marcos can land a fight with Pacquiao. Why isn't he going for that fight? Maidana threatens to retire if he doesn't get the Floyd rematch. Pac is a great 2nd option. Retirement should be the last resort. Plan C: Thurman...Rios...Matthysse..Provodnikov...any dance partner that will create fireworks.

              Maidana would stop Pac early.

I can see why he doesn't want to take the risk and fight someone like Thurman and get knocked out.

Maidana can't stop Pacquiao if he's eating combinations.

Even though that kind of goes against his "I'll fight anybody" attitude he tries to portray.

If Thurman just has to fight somebody else first though, then I'd rather see him go up against Maidana to get to Floyd. I mean, sure, that leaves nobody else for a potential opponent for Floyd in September (unless he has to push it back because of that cut) but I think a match like that would make more sense to get to Mayweather. To me, a win over Broner isn't as impressive as a win over Thurman would be. Plus, Maidana should fight Thurman at some point before people start hounding him for pulling out of the fight with Thurman a while ago.

If not, then...they can just stick Broner in there with Thurman. lol I sure wouldn't mind seeing that.
Yea I agree with the best fighting the best but you know Floyd will fight who will maximize his money. I do wanna see Thurman against the big boys because this guy I believe is the real deal. He keeps improving each fight and eventually he will get that big fight to show his worth.
