People in this thread are finding really ****** and entirely incorrect reasons to cry about this fight. Cry about Ruslan getting smacked around and outworked, because that's why he lost. Not corruption, not ineptitude, he lost because the judges got it right.

Foreign fighters generally need KOs to win against US fighters, that's the beauty of the likes of Kovalev, Matthysse and Golovkin etc, they leave no question-marks. Roach knows, he had to watch Bradley get the decision over Pacquiao.

Provo needs to learn to finish his man when he has him hurt, be ruthless, because they'll always try to push one of their own over him.
Your paranoia and inferiority complex is out of control. Is that why Froch got 1 ridiculously biased card in his favor against Ward, in the US? Ward beat him up with 1 good hand.

British refs are some of the worst in the world, every boxing fan knows that.

I'm guessing if Loma wins 2 rounds against Gary Russell, you will be in here right after screaming "robbery!"

Roach is right though, this is fishy. Make the rematch. With some adjustments working with Roach, Provodnikov will KO this kid. Algieri got a gift decision last night.
If anything Provo was lucky to put him down in the first round and mess up his face. After that he didnt even touch Aglieri who outboxed him clearly for the rest of the fight. Not taking anything away from Provodnikov but unless he catches him with something and stops him this kid will outbox him again.

          Is this real life?

Ruslan was the A side in this fight obviously and the fighter the promoter would be looking out for.

                Another major conspiracy

Every time there's a close fight ,its a conspiracy...like some of them have never watched fights like this ever before....of course some of them haven't ...could have gone either way..depends on which style you like...the judges were kind of all over the place,in a way that's understandable..judging a fight like that is a bugger of a task!.i thought algieri won,but just barely...a draw or provo win wouldn't have surprised me. Not thrilled with seeing a rematch to be honest!

Either way its over and he won so let him bask in his 15 mins of fame because i seriously doubt that he will be able to hold onto his belt for long.
thats what i was kind of thinking..lets see if he can do that again..then i'll really be impressed
