I swear people watch fights and just score like
1. Ruslan punch hard doe
2 Ruslan punch hard doe
3 Ruslan punch hard doe
4 Ruslan punch hard doe
And then wonder why their 117-109 cards are flat out ridiculous
He most certainly did not land the more clean and effective shots. That is utterly ridiculous. You and I saw two completely different fights if you thought Algieri landed the more effective shots.

And while moving forward he was getting peppered with jabs and once he closed the distance Algeiri would mix up his attack and move out of the way. He had Provodnikov off balance for most of the fight. Ruslan was frustrated the entire fight because he didn't know what to do when he closed distance.
If it weren't for the 2 KD's in round 1 this fight would not have been close.

There is no way in hell ANY of the people claiming Algieri won can list me 8 clear rounds that he got. There is no way he won that fight, specially after getting dropped twice. I gave him 4 rounds, 5 bring as generous as one could be.
Roberry last night for the hometown amateur.

Sorry, but him getting peppered with pitty pat range finders is not effective clean punching, maybe in the amateurs but not here. He didn't move away nearly as much as you would think. He sat on the ropes more than a few times when Prov cut the ring off and got hit with punches that moved him.

Do you think "soft punches" were snapping Provo's head back?

It's a shame the Ruslan didn't stay on the body work, it was what got him the KD in the first , he really is one of the dumbest boxers around, I love him though.
Ruslan sends another guy to the hospital and earns himself another loss.
What orafice of Algerie's body isn't leaking blood today?
Eye- yes
Nose- yes
Mouth-yes
Peeing blood - yes
Rectum - yes
At least he isn't bleeding out of the ears.
