Everyone should just set their egos aside and give the fans the fights we want to see and in the process make more money by working together.

oh geez this is not a good start i would hope oscar at least let his own network in on his plans with top rankComment

with all the drama surrounding pac bradley that fight should of been in the 1.3 to 1.4 area that fight was more of a failure then even mayweather maidana which was best thing ever happened mayweather cause now he looks vulnerable and will sell more fights. its hard to argue that showtime is winning the war of networks the fact its even an argument with how many more households have hbo compared to showtime shows just how well the signing of mayweather has been it makes the whole network better as far as boxing. Showtime is going to take over boxing in some ways it already has.#PacquiaoBradley made 800K without big names in the undercard.
#MayweatherMaidana with an undercard full of big names, not even 900K
We can add #MayweatherCanelo as a huge success, but not forgetting Guerrero and Maidana were big failures.
Compare Stevenson's numers in HBO to Showtime. I don't give a **** about bragging rights, but HBO almost doubled Showtime's numbers.
So, you need to be careful with that statement.Comment

Oscar has to get GBP boxing back on HBO. Showtime had an opportunity here to prove to the fans that they are truly neutral here and are willing to do business with all boxing promoters and they blew it. We all know Arum will hold this against Showtime.Comment

Expect people to make a big deal of this or claim that Arum is trying to start something when this is clearly a miscommunication. Not the first time it happens and we get the whole story a few days before the fight. The fight is signed and paid for..ain't no reason for anyone to have any issues with each other..at the end of the day everyone involved will go home with more money than either boxer.Comment

Pacquaio and Mayweather are both consistently commanding the highest purses in boxing history. They are both very expensive. Where was all this talk about losses when HBO was paying for BOTH Mayweather and Pacquaio annually at the same time?#PacquiaoBradley made 800K without big names in the undercard.

When you factor in the cost of Pacquaio vs. Bradley, it is not far off from the expense of Mayweather vs. Maidana. Pacquaio was getting a guarantee of $20 million, and Bradley $6 million. The undercard was like $600K. Then keep in mind that Top Rank is also going to take their fee too, and who knows how much that even is? People forget Top Rank has to profit from the deal as well.
HBO's boxing budget in the past was double what it is today. Maybe even triple what it is today. And back then, I didn't hear any of you whining about losses HBO could be suffering because of that.Comment

And the scumbag Espinoza tries to deny thinking people wont believe Arum cause he lies half of the time.
What a tool.Comment

They said anywhere between 500k-800k to make it sound nice, but funny how you just go with the larger number and say it did 800k, you wont be taken seriously after that.#PacquiaoBradley made 800K without big names in the undercard.

I can't stand this Espinoza guy. I'm a SHO subscriber and he did nothing for subscribers. Non-PPV fights have become extremely rare when he took over. He put all his amateurish balls in one unprofitable Mayweather basket. Fans need someone fresh. Not this nuthugging clown.
He should get fired ASAP.Comment
