I'm might be slightly biased to Cotto, but I think I look at things pretty fairly. I can't see Cotto having a better resume... Floyd is undefeated at the end of the day. Cotto getting steamrolled by Manny and that loss to Trout hurt his stock, the only names "missin" from Mayweathers list are Manny, Martinez and Margarito. At first I had Floyd in a blowout, but... damn it's pretty close. If Cotto were to beat Canelo or GGG should they fight he might actually have a better resume.

What is this "cotto ha fought better opposition" crap. No he hasn't. The only great fighters cotto has ever fought were Manny and Mosley. Floyd has fought a much better range of opponents. It's really not even close tbh. But I guess ppl want something to debate about.

I really believe that Floyd is the most talented fighter of our era. But his consistent refusal to go after the right fighters at the right time has cost him status. He could have been legendary.
