No way is he looking like his 2007/2008 days. Don't get me wrong, he's looking better under the tutelage of Roach, but his best days are behind him.

While most FMJr. fans will be objective and will like the fight, some are making "ducking" excuses for Floyd to avoid Miguel.

Love how Cotto was out of shape now and not properly trained for their 2012 fight.......LOL

          Floyd can't win......

Half of the people on here saying...."Floyd rematching Cotto is a cheap way to win a 160 title, terrible cherry pick"

Other half are saying....."Floyd will duck Cotto now, he doesn't want none of that Cotto trained by Freddie"

Lol the guy can never win

For me, he's already beaten Cotto handily, why do they need to rematch??? But I also wouldn't be too pissed considering the slim pickings for a Fall 2014 fight, and since Cotto is coming off two stellar performances, one against the 160 champ. And it'd be for history. No fighter has traveled 6 weight classes winning titles undefeated.

Still don't see Floyd fighting at 160 ever.....he's too small. He's never weighed more than 151 for a fight, and started two weight classes below where Cotto started. Cotto fighting at 160 is like Floyd fighting at 154, he's undersized but makes it work. Cotto fighting at 168 would be like Floyd fighting at 160, way way way too small for that weight.

I agree. Not sure what more he has to prove against cotto.

Not interested in a Floyd Cotto fight.... Whatsoever.

Cotto wanted to be the middleweight lineal champ? Fine... Fight middleweights...or at least a big jr mw in Canelo who will soon be too big for 154 and have to move up

IMO it would be more beneficial for his legacy if he beat GGG at 160 as opposed to Cotto. I dont see him fighting at 160 ever, but if he was.
While I wouldn't be against a rematch..Mayweather has already beat Cotto. Cotto is looking sharp, but I don't think beating him again would add a great deal to Mayweathers standing in years to come.

2 of those would be catch weight lineal, never done before. Shameful, as Floyd fans would say

Not at all. Floyd ****ks up that paper champ again and wins the lineal middle weight championship which just makes this whole thing worst than it already is. I actually think you Cotto boys don't want the fight. I'm a Floyd fan but the last thing Floyd deserves is to be the lineal middleweight champ since Cotto really isn't the champ himself. It's a circus. However, if Cotto fans want to act like he's a legit champ, I don't wanna hear ANYTHING about Floyd being a cherry picker when he picks Cotto apart again.

but floyd is too small to fight over 152, i mean for years he was too small for being mentioned besides ggg and maravilla, now all of the sudden flommos came out of the closet for the MW title... just stop it...
