So just imagine what this PROPERLY trained Cotto would do to Mayweather.
    Or back in reality:

A guy Floyd already won a lopsided fight against is on a "legendary" 2-fight win streak against Delvin Rodqriguez (4-5-2 in his last 11 fights) and a Sergio Martinez who shouldn't have been medically cleared to fight, & somehow wound up with a middlweight-via-catchweight world title.

Cotto has done nothing to illustrate improvement since the first time he fought Floyd. Floyd knows this. It's a free MW title.

That's the worst part of Martinez bull****ting about his knees, Floyd is going to be middleweight champion of the world.

Floyd will rather fight pacquiao than to take a cotto rematch

I would pick GGG to KOL Mayweather if they fought at either 154 or 160.

See here's the problem... Floyd really has cherry-picked a lot of his fights and really did blatantly duck Pacquaio.

But once you start saying he's "ducking" rematches with Cotto, Maidana, Canelo, etc., you turn the whole thing into a parody. Floyd is probably not afraid of guys he already fought, figured out and beat.

Man...but it would be the most interesting fight to make right now for Mayweather barring a Pac fight, wouldn't you agree?

The story line is perfect. 160 lineal up for grabs, fresh-looking and more dangerous Cotto, possibly uncomfortable weight for Mayweather. Easily the most interesting and lucrative fight for May to make!

Give it a rest. Nobody will fight GGG. He's too big, unproven and won't make anyone any money. Only 168 pounders are even considering him. It's not even worth talking about potential matchups with HOF fighters at middleweight or lower with this guy.

Golovkin opponents make more $ than anyone else in the division.

Not $7 million - $1.5 million plus PPV upside purses I bet. You gotta bring more to the table to get in the ring with the HOFs, pursuant to ******ed boxing politics of today. We can all dream of a matchup b/w Cotto or May against GGG, but in the end that's all it is. Dreaming.

floyd fans want him to move up and away from 160 so floyd can then fight cotto and claim to be the 160 champ without everybody pointing to the fact that GGG is the true middleweight king. they also want to be able to diminish his career when it's looked back upon in future by saying stuff like 'well he was never the lineal/undisputed middleweight champion) etc etc.

                    It's all hate and agendas.

Miguel is looking like the beast from 2007/2008. I hope they fight again. If they do and Floyd wins, he would be the lineal champ at 147, 154 and 160. At the same damn time. That's crazy!!!
