Was anyone else disgusted with HBO (mainly Lampley) at the end of the fight?
Very. Kellerman backed from his stance, Ward was never really buying in, but Lampley and the scorer may as well have had their mouths surgically attached to Ruslan's balls.

Great night I thought last night..

      Few things..

Andrade looks good,I'd like to see him step it up a bit tho..I know their trying to build this kid,but he needs to step up and should have step it up more after beating Vanes imo..Nice win,but imo time to get in there with the other top ranked guy's within the div..Someone more live then Rose was last night..

What a fight in the Main event..Personally I felt it could have went either way,I had it 7-5 Algieri..The toughness Algieri showed was great, you can not say enough about it..Prov does what he does, make greats fights and never stops applying pressure and making the fight exciting and fun to watch..A shame many will try to spin this negatively for Prov, when in fact his style made this fight very enjoyable to watch..Prov was also in it till the end,Algieri just was not going to be denied..

I thought the commentating was great..even Lamply who I normally feel imposes his view on the whole team..I did not feel that happened last night,I felt the team all had a different view..Yet no one person dominated, all of them shared their view equally..All in all one of the best boxing nights this yr imo..

I think what would really help Ruslan out is to start throwing a bit more "free" if that makes sense. I feel and think he often punches with too much force/weight and its often he uses the same punches. He needs to vary the left hook, vary the right hand. Shoot the right to the chest, left upstairs. Right hook, right uppercut. Double left hook.. he often shot the left then the right or the right then the left. And usually it they were the same left hooks, and same right hands.

Just watched the fight. I felt ruslan won but it wasn't a robbery. Ruslan was notexposed he just has trouble with people who can box. He's more of a gatti type fighter. Algeiri is a pretty darn good boxer. I'm impressed.

Can't wait to see both guys back in action again.

Good analogy with gatti..never thought if it before but I do see the similarities.

This is the hurt business not patty cakes, it shouldn't matter how many punches you throw, if you fail to hurt your opponent then it defeats the purpose of the sport.

So Willie Pep is not a great boxer then I guess??Hmm,fighters like Bradley Paulie M should just hang um up cause they won't be able to win if they can't hurt their opponent is what ya saying??This is a pretty ridiculous post..The hurt business is scored on a point system..Prov was out pointed and did not hurt Algieri much after the first rd..

Even though I was really upset because I advised people to bet on Ruslan ko and Ruslan is one of my favourite fighters , this could be a minor setback for a major comeback. Blessing in disguise. Now he can work on improving at the gym and him and his trainer not relying on his power too much.

I agree, not to mention Prov did well in this fight..Esp early,I thought he fell in love with the bad eye of Chris..Was going up stairs far to much..The damage came in the first as of effects of his body work..He just never really commit to it after the first..Give Algieri a lot of credit for the footwork and keeping Prov off balance as well..Very good fight by both fighters imo..

Was roach telling Ruslan in the corner to go
                      To the body?

And 1 judge had Algeri winning 5 of the first 6, another 4 of first 6
