Stay active, continue to build his brand. What else can he do? Geale is a decent middleweight, nothing more. Golovkin must dominate him. I think at some point GGG may have to move up in weight to find new challenges.

Geale is not coming off a loss by the way.

Who at MW can Golovkin fight for somebody to give him credit... literally nobody. Nobody thinks much of him beating Quillin or Soliman. Geale is evidently now a nobody and Murray isn't anything either

Is he not? Has he had a fight since barker? My bad. I agree with some other posters here, he should move up for a big fight. He's said before he's ready for anyone between 154-168. Why doesn't he ever speak of ward?

Sorry all if I've come across as a hater, i will sing golovkins praises if and when he fights an elite-level fighter.

I think he should try and back up his talk about being ready for anyone 154-168. So far he's only tried negotiating at 168 with Chavez jr. The soft-touch big money option.

Does Ward even still fight? Last I heard he turned down several fights

His best opposition to date, maybe besides Macklin. I like the fight

Well we've heard he's turned down fights he deemed "a step backwards". I don't see how he could claim a golovkin fight would be that.

Nobody better than Daniel Geale wanted to fight Golovkin at 160 pounds. Martin Murray ducked, Chavez Jr. backed out, Ward's promoter Goosen is keeping his fighter hostage. He had the July date booked in advance and there were no viable opponents, Geale was the only guy who stepped up. It's going to be a mid-rounds KO for GGG

A guy coming up a division who many feel doesn't deserve any hype because he's unproven?

                      That's a step forward?
