How will Martinez's Middleweight reign be remembered?

Very good fighter, made for a good Middleweight Champion, the best since Hopkins IMO...

Hall of fame worthy, a great ambassador for the sport, both in ring with his performances, and his often unnoticed charitable work for his local community outside of it.

Started late. Great run. Bad luck with injuries.

Overall, great champ, and I'm a fan for life.

I don't think he will get the credit he deserves. He was a fine world champion in his prime. He didn't even see a boxing gym until he was in his twenties and suffered a lot of career ending injuries and still fought on and even won with them. Fighting with a broken hand & torn ACL etc and still managing too win is crazy!

There is already loads picking his resume & **** apart saying Williams was overrated (which to an extent I do agree with), Pavlik was a drunk, Dzinzuruk was Euro level, Barker was a can, Chavez a bum etc

I hope he gets the credit he deserves, he was a great fighter and gave us nothing but entertainment.

5 year reign, longest since Hopkins. Sure fire hall of famer. Highlight reel KOs

He was the longest reigning lineal champion in the sport up until last night wasn't he? Out of all the weight divisions.

Very solid and impressive run. One of he best fighters of this era.

It was a great run, injuries diffusing it along with age. I would Like to see him in the HOF
