Yeah but he also lost clearly to Trout. I just don't know where to rank him. Sergio was not a P4P guy last night and I think any good Jnr Middle or Middle could have beaten him. I mean, Martin Murray beat him when he was much healthier....

I believe I had Mayweather, Rigo, Ward, Wlad, Pacquaio, Marquez,Donaire, Garcia, Froch, Sergio.

I guess I'd put Cotto in there now instead of Sergio. Don't really know who else deserves it.

I don't think he should fight at middleweight. Mayweather and Canelo are probably his two best options. The Canelo fight is more intriguing to me, that's assuming he beats Lara which is far from a given.

idk why people act as if its a fact his knee got messed up in the fight. its likely, but it doesnt have to be the case at all.

the fact that he hurt them in the past doesnt mean he necessarily hurt them again, it could just mean they arent the same in any condition. they are 39 year old legs after all. its not uncommon that a fighter struggles to get his legs back after being hurt either, especially when you keep getting buzzed as the fight goes on.

add in all those factors and i dont think his knee was necessarily injured in the fight, his legs may just be shot. after all so are his reflexes and his punch resistance, not a stretch to think his legs went as well. its actually downright logical.

This is boxing fellas. Martinez was never good enough to outbox Cotto. There is levels to this shyt.
Idiot! A lot of posters said that a 100% Martinez would eat Cotto that Martinez from
          Last night was not 100%
After cottos performance even a healthy Martinez would have had trouble with Cotto. But for u and the Cotto Stan's to act as if that was a healthy Martinez that is just laughable.

Martinez is too much of a man to make excuses.

Sergio said "you have to know how to win and you have to know how to loose" in the post fight interview which the crappy interpreter these people have interpreted as "when to loose" he was obviously saying if there was something wrong with my knees im not saying so quit asking.

To the bold, that's impossible to know.

I agree his more intriguing options lie at JMW, but the lineal title at MW is going to be hard for him to give up.
