    You know what I'm sayin?

These dudes is so broken hearted man! The excuses are coming from heaven and earth. It was the same with Matthysse vs. Garcia... All of a sudden, it was pure luck, it was the eye. With Martinez, it's he's old and it's his knees. But most of them were predicting a T/KO for Martinez!

If Martinez was the one to T/KO Cotto, what excuses would they give to Cotto? NONE!

This guy LMAO!!!! Martinez had no hand/knee or shoulder injuries going into that fight. Put a beat down and got caught late, but apparently he was shot before that fight haha.

My homeboy been in the trenches with Cotto since the 2000 Olympics. We talked last night and while he was happy. He said the victory was a lil bittersweet because of how compromised Martinez appeared to be. Got any of that going on?

Why? Does he think some judges in the UK will GIVE him more points, cause Ward beat him in the Ring and it was convincing. Is he relying on the fans to get him to do something he couldnt do during their last fight? Seems he's relying and hoping for something other than SELF to help him pull off a miracle. Wards style is just all wrong for him, and he knows it. Which is why he recently said he doesnt want to fight Ward. He loses 10 out of 10 times. there is no shame in losing to one of the best. He just realizes one of the top p4p fighters is in his division, and he knows he cant win vs ward.

I guess it's left up to someones perception but there were no lingering effects of his knee surgeries until he got rocked repeatedly. I've been watching Cotto the same period of time and I don't think it's bittersweet at all....he did what Martinez was supposed to do and maybe his knee did hurt after he got f'd up several times, but that is the nature of the beast....don't get rocked and you can stand up straight, just like he did all training camp, beginning of the first, and rounds 2,3 and 4....not bittersweet at all....just sweet

The two aren't mutually exclusive homie. You can applaud and be happy that Cotto won a fight not a lotta people thought he would win. While also acknowledging that that was a very diminished version of Martinez that he fought.

As I remember Martinez on 24/7 said his knee was fine and he just needed the sleeve for precautionary reasons. So he was fine and just lost a fight, remember anything can happen in boxing. Anyone can lose
