LARA or Gamboa wish they were half as good as RIGO. Hopefully golden boy sings him up. So they can match him with mares and santacruz. The only reason why I root for mares is because he fought all the fighters that RUNITO DONAIRE SHOULD HAVE. BUT RUNITO KEPT FIGHTING grandpas and semi retired fighters. Best wishes to RIGO .

Rigo needs to look at the smaller promoters like DiBella Entertainment, Gary Shaw Productions, Goossen Promotions, Warriors Boxing or Star Boxing for his next contract. Become one of the top guys in their stable, if HBO doesn't want to show his fights I'm sure Showtime & ESPN have no problem showing his fights. Rigo has an audience and is a great co-feature fighter that can become the total A-side if promoted properly.

Rigo wouldn't get out of bed for ESPN wages. I think HBO wouldn't even mind sticking him on an undercard, but that doesn't work with his guaranteed minimum.

Well if the networks don't want him, and the fans will not fill the seats for him, it is hard to give a guy 6 figure minimums.

It is a promoters Job to Market and promote a fighter, and Arum did get him on HBO. A fighter though has to also sell themselves to make a boxing fan become a boxers fan.

Bradley is a good example. He could not draw flies to sh|t at one time, but Arum got him the fights and Tim performed. He got the networks and fans excited, Tim sold himself and earned his keep.

I'll watch Rigo fight when he fights. I personally don't mind them. Most fans though want to get their adrenaline pumping, and he does not offer that.

Golden boy is now giving Lara a chance to step out against Canelo. They themselves are not too excited for him but they are giving him a chance, like Bob puttig Rigo in with Donaire. If he wins in a very good fight, he will earn some fans. If the fight is a stinker, they will also find themselves in a position of trying to get air dates for their suddenly expensive product.
