I really don't care about the financial part of it. I'm a former athlete and that's just how I'm built. If you beat me I wanna come back and beat you. That's just the way my mind thinks. Strickly from a competition standpoint, IMO Froch should be the one pushing for the rematch, not Ward. And to me not wanting the rematch speaks volumes about his true character as a man and fighter

What Froch has to lose are his titles and the chance feelinnother huge pay cheque. And at the age of 37, he knows that if he blows that chance by losing to Ward for comparative peanuts, it won't come round again.
Like I keep saying, if Ward would fight Froch in the UK, where the money would justify the risk, from Froch's point of view, the fight would happen.
Froch is not ducking Ward. What he's doing is saying to Ward the same thing Ward said to him after Carl beat Bute: "If you want me, you know where I am."

Froch's "titles" are about as valuable as that piece paper I just dropped in the toilet after taking a ****. He is definition of a paper champion. As for Ward going over to the UK. Hard for me to criticize a champion, who's not a big puncher, for not wanting to go overseas and potentially getting robbed. He has a hard enough time getting anybody worth a f.uck to fight him now. If he goes over there and gets jobbbed, he may never get another big fight.

As for Froch. I don't understand what's so difficult to understand about me feeling that Froch should wanna avenge that loss and should be willing to do it whenever and where ever. Its not always about the money. His professional pride should wanna right that wrong.

I agree that guy is annoying and has never presented some sort of discussion with facts, it's like his vocabulary is limited to the same basic words, i agree with you that froch is ducking Ward because in my opinion Froch could make just as much, if not more, fighting Ward as he would be in fighting Chavez Jr., but Froch doesn't have that character and self confidence in calling out Ward, avenging his loss, and if he were to win he'd be the undisputed lineal super middleweight champ, HELL he'd be in the english folklore, IF he pursued the fight versus Ward he'd be one fight away from becoming a "legend" at least for England, i don't know of an undisputed lineal super middleweight champ from England, calzaghe being from wales, all of England would fill Wembley and english flags would be waved by 80,000 men, women and children, he'd inspire all the english little lads to want to be boxers just like Froch..... but like Angel Garcia likes to say "he know....he know what the **** it is!" Froch won his titles fair and square, in the ring, beating Kessler and Lucien Bute, who Ward himself didn't seem to want to fight. He is ready and willing to defend them against Andre Ward. All Ward has to do is accept the challenge and come over to the UK, which he said he would do to fight Groves.
No way would a guy of Ward's standing be "jobbed" if he fought over here. There would be neutral officials and he would be treated like the S.O.G. by the British boxing authorities.
