Any fighter who wants to fight for a divisional title should not expect a fighter to come in outside of their division! I will no longer support ANY fighter who does this and Pac is no exception, period! I will stop supporting him and ay fighter that even asks for or accepts when their team asks/demands a lower weight. Catchweights are running rampant and it has gotten out of hand!! Stop taking sides over this because any fighter is wrong. ANY fighter is wrong wanting to fight for and potentially win a title in a new division when the fact is, they are trying to take the champion out of that division! Something needs to stop this from happening.Comment

Which common opponent has Manny humiliated to the point that he was criticized for even fighting them? Then he turned around and left Floyd in a comaManny's win was more impressive as he dominated and stopped De La Hoya while Floyd went to split decision and go booed by his hometown crowd after the decision was rendered...
You're trying to speculate about weight...I can say that De La Hoya put on too much weight and was slower than he could have been without the weight...
You really don't want to go down the line of comparing common-opponents between and Floyd and Manny, do you lol?
Besides Marquez..Manny has beaten common opponents much more impressively:
Cotto
Mosley
De La Hoya
Hatton
BTW, you disregard Floyd's win over Canelo because you say Ginger was a drained zombie. And him not making 54 in his next fight was evidence to your claim. Yet Manny fought Cotto at 145. And in Cotto's next fight, he moved up to 154 and has never fought below 154 again. So according to your logic. If cutting 2lbs reduced Nelo to a zombie. What did cutting nine do to Cotto?Comment

For a guy with the condition Roach has, you would expect a humble human being but he is one egotistical, arrogant FK who makes himself look like an idiot every time he opens his mouth. I have never seen any trainer more insecure......not even Nacho Beristain.....and that is saying a lot.Comment

Unfortunately people who claim a lose is a learning lesson are holding a loss to Floyd as if it's the end of a career and a downward slop in a skill. Canelo continues to show great skill and has a huge test in a slick boxer with Lara. If he wins the Lara fight and does it convincingly. .. I wouldn't hold a Pac fight against him.Comment

Very ******ed post. Pac had to make the weight because the Hatton fight was at Jr. Welter, below 140. Look at his welter fights, he weights more than Floyd. You obviously didn't read a single word of my post.
If Kovalev went on a weightlifting campaign he could end up weighing the same as Klitschko. It wouldn't make him a natural heavyweight.
Floyd could not get down below 146 after the age of 30 (when muscle and bone mass peak). Many got down to 138 against Hatton. Floyd is a natural welterweight now. Manny will never be a natural welterweight.
You aren't fooling anyone by pretending they are the same size. The only people who believe Floyd it are those who also believe Floyd isn't the biggest duck of all time - in other words, a tiny minority.Comment

Very good logic and we'll said. The catch weight king in Pac has left people forgetting.Which common opponent has Manny humiliated to the point that he was criticized for even fighting them? Then he turned around and left Floyd in a coma

It does......I was pulling for Cotto until I heard about the catchweight and that killed it for me. I'm pulling for the other guy every time I find out about a fighter trying to take an opponent out of his division. I have no problem with rehydration clauses. That should be the emphasis.Last edited by richardt; 06-05-2014, 11:03 AM.Comment
