        "There's a couple of other guys out there right now that I'm thinking about that are free agents. You look at Mayweather's last like four fights and so forth, if we can fight one of those guys that he went the distance with and knock that person out and be impressive, it puts us even closer to Mayweather because that's the fight we really want eventually," stated world-class trainer Freddie Roach, who discussed his preference of opponents for Manny Pacquiao when he makes his anticipated return to the ring on April 12 the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to Roach, although Pacquiao doesn't mind avenging his controversial loss to undefeated welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, in his opinion, there's not enough money to make the fight worth his star pupil's while. Instead, Roach would prefer having Pacquiao face someone that Floyd Mayweather just fought, like Robert Guerrero, in hopes of scoring a more impressive victory.

          Canelo can not even make 154 anymore, so why should he sacrifize to make 150 and try to beat a man that was Ko by a light weight???FK that, good for Canelo!
          And the P@ct@rds are so ****** that it allows Roach to blatantly get away with **** like this. And he's been doing it since Manny fought Oscar. He fought Oscar at 47. But following his destruction of Margarito, wouldn't fight Mosley at the same weight. Made all these claims that Manny was a lightweight fighting bigger guys. And that Manny could easily be fighting at 35 or 40. Yet after Floyd handled JMM the way he did. Roach wanted the fight at welterweight. Instead of at 35, where JMM was the lineal champion. Or, at 40 where Pac was the lineal champion. This guy is a joke. The only bigger joke is the ignorant fanbase that tries to spin and justify everything Team Pac does.

            But......

            Floyd weighed 150 on weigh-in day fight with oscar WHILE Oscar weighed 154, on fight night Floyd was no more than 151 and oscar rehydrated up to 170, Floyd still won the fight but gets no credit nor glory, hmmmm something seems strange with all that..

            Oscar = 170lbs
            Floyd = 151lbs

            Now which one was more impressive again? And who fought the bigger person ?
            Manny's win was more impressive as he dominated and stopped De La Hoya while Floyd went to split decision and go booed by his hometown crowd after the decision was rendered...

            You're trying to speculate about weight...I can say that De La Hoya put on too much weight and was slower than he could have been without the weight...

            You really don't want to go down the line of comparing common-opponents between and Floyd and Manny, do you lol?

            Besides Marquez..Manny has beaten common opponents much more impressively:

            Cotto
            Mosley
            De La Hoya
            Hatton

              Yes, Floyd is held at a higher standard fighting above 147 pounds because he's fought at the full limit twice...

              Manny weighed in under 145 when he fought at 150...

                      It doesn't matter because the FightHype article was referencing a YouTube video where Freddie Roach did indeed say he was interested in Pacquaio fighting one of Floyd's old opponents and specifically named Robert Guerrero. And that they would want to beat him more impressively than Floyd. This is fact.
