Damn, I didn't know about that. Seems Freddie is very protective of Manny. Well, "health comes first":

Freddie Roach, Pacquiao’s trainer, said he likes the matchup because Mosley will come directly to his fighter. However, Roach would give his consent only at a catch weight between 140 and 147 pounds.

Roach has mentioned “143 or 144.” Mosley said Tuesday that “we’ll talk about it but I think I can get to 144.”

“To make things fair, we’ll meet half way,” he said.

The problem for Mosley, 37, is that he hasn’t fought below 146 since 1999, when he stopped John Brown in the final defense of his 135-pound title. And he has fought above 147 10 times, four times at exactly 154.

Mosley said he weighs 160 now and that the ideal official weigh-in limit for him would 150, meaning he’d have to come in six pounds below the weight at which he would be most comfortable.

To do that at his age and with his already-lean body would be difficult.

“In my case, that’s a lot of weight to lose,” he said. “I previously fought at 154. Coming down to 147 can be a task. Then coming down even further, that is a real task. Even one pound makes a big difference.”

That said, he’s pretty sure he can do it.

I don't know which of Mayweather's wins is better -his win over concentration-camp Canelo, his win over Marquez after dragging him up 2 divisions and still cheating him on the scales, his wins over the geriatrics De La Hoya and Mosley, his win over a balloon-handed Maidana, or his 1 win over Castillo.

Mayweather's career in a microcosm is a man beating up the smaller and/or malnourished patients of an old folk's home.
Right on time giving us an example of P@ct@rd logic.

Bronx don't worry about it... we here to help the people be informed of the facts... not ppinions..... Roach has always done this... funny how he is training Cotto now.. but had a lot of bad things to say about him before he fought Pacquiao.

And your boy, Pac, feasted on every little boneless old man, after Floyd has softened and ****** the last marrow out of them. Pac's always cleaned after Floyd. Now trying to suck Canelo out of his zone. Pac is actually a pathetic little dummy, like yourself.

you still with that??? "balloon-handed"??? you want to discredit de la hoya win?? c'mon man maidana wanted to wear "luis resto commemorative anniversary gloves" that the NSAC didn't approve of, de la hoya fought pacquiao at 147 which he hadn't done in more than 5 years before that fight while mayweather fought a wbc super welter champion in de la hoya at 154, and i keep tellin you leonard didn't beat hearns 2x and name one notable paper champ kovalev win

Don't confuse the little Pac tardlets with logic and facts. They are creatures of emotion, like females.

Funny thing is. When these ass clowns are discrediting Floyd for fighting old guys. Damn near every "old" guy Floyd fought Pac fought a year or two later.

Rios better than Maidana? Last year these ass clowns were saying Rios was better than Canelo.
