    Mayweather is held to such a high standard = please get a win on your record better than Corrales. You've had 2 decades to do so.

      Do you know why they even consider the leftovers (although they pick carefully, i.e. let's get Mosely, not Canelo):

      Fight Hype (January 09, 2014)

      "There's a couple of other guys out there right now that I'm thinking about that are free agents. You look at Mayweather's last like four fights and so forth, if we can fight one of those guys that he went the distance with and knock that person out and be impressive, it puts us even closer to Mayweather because that's the fight we really want eventually," stated world-class trainer Freddie Roach, who discussed his preference of opponents for Manny Pacquiao when he makes his anticipated return to the ring on April 12 the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. According to Roach, although Pacquiao doesn't mind avenging his controversial loss to undefeated welterweight champion Timothy Bradley, in his opinion, there's not enough money to make the fight worth his star pupil's while. Instead, Roach would prefer having Pacquiao face someone that Floyd Mayweather just fought, like Robert Guerrero, in hopes of scoring a more impressive victory.

        He's had plenty. the problem is posters like you that count an erik morales win after he got destroyed by zahir raheem as quality but devalue a win against shane after he beats Margarito.

        That level of biased ignorance can't be overcome.

          I NEVER knew the ww division was based off height and reach, and NOT weight.... Therefore according to all the pak_t_ards I see why Paul Williams never got the fights he deserved.....It's freakin ****** to say Floyd is bigger than Manny cuz of his height and reach but they weigh the same on weigh in day and the same on fight night (sometimes Floyd weighs less than Manny) so to say Manny is too small for Canelo at 152 is asinine, Floyd did it so why can't Manny do it? And I don't care where they use to fight, 126, 130, none of that matters now, they are both full fledged ww's.....

            Why should Alvarez give pacquiao any advantages? At this point of his career he does not need Pacquiao! Pacquiao has made everyone fight at the weight that its more convienient for him.

            De La Hoya, Cotto, Margarito!!

            Canelo can not even make 154 anymore, so why should he sacrifize to make 150 and try to beat a man that was Ko by a light weight???FK that, good for Canelo!

              When Manny fought ODLH, Oscar the day of the weigh in weighed 145 (OMFG that's a skeleton) and on the night of the fight Oscar weighed 147 while Manny weighed 148....smh! Oscar was a zombie while Manny was full strength, but Manny got all the credit and glory for beating him....

              But......

              Floyd weighed 150 on weigh-in day fight with oscar WHILE Oscar weighed 154, on fight night Floyd was no more than 151 and oscar rehydrated up to 170, Floyd still won the fight but gets no credit nor glory, hmmmm something seems strange with all that..

              Oscar = 170lbs
              Floyd = 151lbs
              __________________
              Oscar = 147lbs
              Manny = 148lbs

              Now which one was more impressive again? And who fought the bigger person ?

Many others like yourself don't explain why you're a hater, and when you can't show and prove, you resort to name calling. etc.

                  For example, our little convo today started when a Floyd fan posted Manny's weight vs. Marquez, and Floyd's weight vs. Canelo. His point was to show that there weight is very similar, and yet Floyd fought and beat Canelo. I thought that was brilliant. Yet your response was calling me a *****. No repsonse to the comparison at all, only name calling. Why? Because you have nothing to contribute to the debate because YOUR knowledge of the game is very limited, or you're just plain ******.
