Exactly! This fight if it were to fail to come together (depending on the reason) would tell us where Boxing would stand. If it were to succeed, would let us see that the doors between GBP/TR and Hayman are unified on some level. Lets not forget, Haymon is not obligated to join whatever plans Schaefer has or at least not exclusively. Schaefer is not even a startup at this point. If Arum and Oscar truly bond, they are the sole powerhouse in Boxing, especially if Hayman is freeform with promoters and open to the Arum/Oscar union. Let no one be fooled, the money and clout between Arum and Oscar is a huge mountain. Anything on Schaefer side has not even started, let alone fully baked. Hell, King could join Schaefer hypothetically and that team wouldn't have the clout advantage over Oscar/Arum. Although in terms of King, that is not saying much because he is many levels below what he once was. But this fight would have huge implications on the future of boxing as a business. With the exception that if Garcia is already being positioned for Mayweather. But Mayweather has been trying to get into the UK for some reason a lot lately and denied the other day. Maybe it is Khan next for him.

Not likely to happen, he's with Al Haymon and in line for a Floyd fight in his final three fights. A loss would severely hurt Garcia's chances at getting a Floyd fight so I don't see it happening. I see a semi touch up fight at 147 and a floyd fight in Danny's future. Porter and/or Thurman seem more likely because they'd fight Haymon to get that fight made.

if you think Arum is looking out for Oscar you're foolish. Arum looks out for no one but Arum.

Notice Arum is bringing up only fighters Mayweather plans on fighting (Khan / Garcia). And then everyone wonders why Mayweather dislikes him.

Also why only Pac versus these guys? What about Bradley, Marquez, Rios etc

Its clear though that ODH doesn't have as many fighters as he assumed he did. ODH also hasn't even filed a suit yet. when he does-what if he doesn't win?

ALso Haymon/schaffer will likely be backed by CBS/showtime so i'm sure they will have an abudance of resources.

Its just too early to tell. Hoepfully the network war morphs froma cold war to a ratings war where both sides fight by putting on the best fights they can make.

I think this is Arum going in for the kill.

maybe Froch vs Chavez on PPV the same night as Mayweather, now he's trying to lure Garcia away from Haymon.

Haymon's been on the attack for awhile but it looks like Uncle Bob is hitting them when they're down.

                    don't F with Arum
