I have zero problems with the fight at 140, but if this Arum bringing up a another fighter from a lower weight class coming off a suspect performance, then it's not really doing anything major. Just being an opportunist considering who's could be available @147.

If signed, what network is the fight on?

HBO still refuses to work with Al Haymon advised/managed fighters. Bob refuses to have his fighters fight on showtime.

So if the fight is made does HBO-seeeing they just gave TR money to help resign Manny-lift its ban and show a fight with one of Haymon's most prominent fighters?
      Most likely HBO.

Don't know if Pac is exclusive, but they could pull a Mosley again.
HBO is also willing to work with Haymon for fights they want... so coin flip here. They were willing to work with Stevenson after he signed Haymon and Quillin too

one thing about garcia is he is pretty good at countering big with that left hook, but as long as manny doesn't get careless he should handle him pretty easily. it's an alright fight in which you'd expect pac to dominate but give garcia a small chance of countering with something big at some point.

now IMO an epic fight would be Pac V maidana.

danny is a strong kid, at 140 n i also think at 147 would be good... hes still got his belts n undefeated record, best time is now for him, jump on these big fights while u can.

also idk why ppl are calling it early a pac KO for sure. pac hasnt kod someone in years and its not like danny has a bad chin. i think the right pick would pac UD

Sugar respectfully, HBO pres Herschman has stated he will not work with Haymon advised fighters. That has nothing to do with Bob or ODH or their relationship.

They can make the fight-but for HBO to show it they would have to agree to work with Haymon to a degree because Haymon is still Danny's manager/adviser even if he is signed to GBP.

WI agree it would most likely be on HBO but Bob oesn't address that elephant in the room in the article.

Makes sense but if your HBO and The choices are Danny or Ruslan for Macau-why would HBO risk Al making Danny pull out at the last minute potentially killing the card?

I just don't see why Herschman would lift the ban for a danny v manny fight, even though its a decent fight.

If there is legitimate interest in this fight and HBO blocks it, then every boxing fan in America should boycott HBO for the rest of the year.

HBO is going to protect its interest. Its like the scene in IDes of March where the guy tells Ryan Gosling if I hire you I win and if you get fired the other guy doesn't have you so I also win.

Thats been there whole motive IMO to siging Kovalev to a 3 fight deal after the Stevenson crap and giving TR money to sign manny through 2016-its not about making the best fights but making sure showtime doesn't get them which, in a business war, I understand.

If Herschman doesn't change his position-no way the fight gets made.

Pac doesn't have problems with left hand dominant fighters.
