maybe Froch vs Chavez on PPV the same night as Mayweather, now he's trying to lure Garcia away from Haymon.

Haymon's been on the attack for awhile but it looks like Uncle Bob is hitting them when they're down.

      don't F with Arum
with mayweather and hayman leading the way. Bob is going for the kill of himself.

Mayweather does not own these guys, and if things are shaken up in boxing, they should be allowed to fight a huge money fight against Pac if that becomes available. Khan learned the hard way that a bird in the hand is all that matters and all that should matter when Floyd is the one who has not committed to Khan any guarantees and I doubt Garcia and Khan just sit around if things open up for them to fight Pac. Nothing is known until we see who the opponents are for Pac and Mayweather and whoever is not set first, the other guy gets the same chance at Khan, Garcia or whoever.

I think oscar picked a terrible time to do this. Top rank is on life support they're about to match up PAC and abregu lol now he does this and has like zero fighters apparently. He shoulda waited

ALso Haymon/schaffer will likely be backed by CBS/showtime so i'm sure they will have an abudance of resources.

Its just too early to tell. Hoepfully the network war morphs froma cold war to a ratings war where both sides fight by putting on the best fights they can make.
Hard to say what the outcome of a Schaefer vs Oscar war legally will be if it happens. When or at least - till if that happens, Schaefer is obligated by contract to Oscar till 2018. And it is impossible to say how all this changes the alliances and stances of Promoters/Managers to Networks. A lot could change. Oscar can nail any network at a heartbeat if he puts his mind to it, now that he has some of his focus back.

Prior to the relapse before the floyd canelo fight I'd agree but I don't know if its so easy now.

Just so much more to come.

Haymon is Garcia's manager...he has no reason to stop Garcia from making the most money...he gets a percentage from it...unless he believes Pacquiao might destroy Garcia and damage him for future fights...

I don't understand what's taking so long to determine which fighters are still with Golden Boy Promotions....Why would fighters under Haymon be allowed to terminate contracts with GBP? Someone will have to explain that to me...I'm not sure of the clauses in the contracts...but my guess would be that those fighters under GBP cannot leave until their contracts are up...it'll end up being a Manny Pacquiao situation if they do...

The fighters have contracts with GBP not Richard Schaefer...I don't see how him leaving material changes the contracts...but either way...WTF IS TAKING SO LONG???
