Wow is it just me or are the boys a little more divided than usual on this one? I hear some wacky sh1zzle comng out of people's pieholes that is a fact!

First off: lets understand that whether you use Dwyer terminology, or call it descriptively....Martinez is an ambush guy. His power and speed generate from staying away then running in. HOW this makes Cotto suddenly fleet of foot to the ninkemboobs here is beyond me! no Cotto has never been fleet of foot and his power is based on the cumulative effect of going to the body perhaps boxing a few rounds then working off the dividends of that early work...Nothing has changed this way! Cotto does have the angles down but this prolly won't be that big a factor in this fight because he won't catch Martinez in the middle of the ring and prolly won't counter Martinez so much as set traps for Sergio and get him pushed up and tuned up on the ropes....Old school like!!

Now what does the Pavlik fight tell us? Not much. Kelly was a hell of a puncher but stopped boxing when he had to find his opponent. Serg almost lost that fight BTW when it should have been easy.

Martinex does have the size and can hurt Cotto if he catched him and there you have it. Will he? I don't know. I am a Cotto fan and think Martinez is overrated...he fights like a soccar player (kidding).
