Are morons actually saying cotto and Martinez have equal punch power or that power won't matter talk about morons in this topic. Martinez koed legit middle weights and has proven to have 1 punch ko power. Cotto only has one ko win at 154 and it was against club fighter

The diference3 here is that Cotto is the best fighter that Martinez has fought in his career and Martinez is like the fifth best fighter Cotto has fought and definetly not the bigger fighter in size or punch that Cotto has fought. So you gyuys are kind of confuse I think. Not saying that Martinez is a bad fighter, but Cotto has fought better fighters and I think that experience with Cotto's overall skillset will be a bit too much for Martinez.

I don't see Sergio as being ****y. He is just "matter of fact". People seeing that post probably think the guy is full of himself. He just knows how it's gotta go down. He needs a big win and Miguel Cotto is the smaller guy and has been KO'd in the past.

Martinez...if nothing else definitely has a flair for the dramatic. Most guys shy from ko predictions....(except Roach's dumbazz) Martinez loves to apply the pressure to himself. He tried to knock Jr out. & no ddoubt he's going to try to end Cotto's night. He know's wuts at stake & that he will get robbed if he lets them. I'm super excited for this one. ...super. This will be my first Major MAjor Championship fight live. I've seen Roy & Bernard but not in Huge fights. I did see Nard vs Dawson & that was a blast. Only figters left to see live are JMM, Pac & floyd. & that'll round out all my favs from the era. Looking fwd to being w/ all them drunk Ricans in the building!!

Your delusional and you'll see come fight night. There are weight classes for a reason.

Cotto was a top 140-147lber, just a mediocre 154lber with a paper belt and now fighting at 160 for the MW title after beating an ESPN level guy and losing 2 in a row 1 against a natural WW like himself?

Its like saying if Martinez was fighting Rigo he would be fighting one of the best fighters he fought but so what? Rigo is a little dwarf and out of his best weight class.

Second co.paring Cotto to Pavlik is ridiculous, yes Pavlik hit hard, but he was a first face, 1-2 brawler with no movement, Cotto will be moving all over the place hitting Martinez from diferentes angles, and ripping Martinez to the body. Has never faced a fighter like Cotto, and he will be reminded Saturday night!
Why don't you ask iron chinned MIDDLEWEIGHT(not Jr. Middleweight), Paul Williams if Sergio has punching power??!!
