Sorry but Schaefer was the One always trying to negotiate with Arum but Arum was the one who said in the media that he didn't want to work with Golden Boy. Also it looks as if Schaefer had the respect and all the trust. Aren't you reading? This blocking stuff you talking about I never heard of. How can he block Oscar when Oscar wasn't even around to make any decisions or do any business. Schaefer did everything.

Yes he only made Golden boy the number one boxing promotion in the business.

He also used delahoya (who was somewhat active at the time) to secure all those HBO dates and build the company. He also wasnt signing clients just acting as a middleman which was bad for corprate GB. His job was to build GB not GB only if He is present and has a good relationship w Haymon.

Sorry, but the fact is Golden Boy is willing to work with Arum and Schaefer is not. And he went against Oscar's wishes to work with Arum......it is very obvious 2 out of 3 people wanted to end the cold war and the holdout was Schaefer.

Yet Arum be putting big name fighters on hold if they don't sign another extension with his banner. The fact is he only does business if he's getting apart of everyone's slice of pie. No grown man is working that guy unless they are on drugs.

Not if Arum and Goldenboy join forces. The money power between them would overpower any promotional unit on this planet, they can buy ANYTHING they want, get anything they want. They are both HUGELY wealthy independently and together, nothing tops them. Not even if King joined Schaefer....nothing tops the power of Arum and GBPP combined. And only ONE MAN was against ending the cold war and that is Schaefer. Not a difficult concept to grasp, really.
