Dibella is the new golden boy for haymon. No way "mayweather promotions" would be ready to promote a big event by September. Have a funny feeling about this watch

this is what i think will happen

he's gonna hire a CEO and work more closely with the smaller promotions to rebuild his pipelines...dont be surprised if we see GBP doing business with HBO again as well in a few years

I doubt that'll be the case. Floyd will not be co-promoting fights with GBP anymore, but Mosley outright left GBP to fight Pacquiao on Showtime, then fought two GBP fighters in Canelo and Cano in HBO.

If Floyd wants to fight Danny Garcia in September, he will fight Danny Garcia in September..because, Al Haymon. And De La Hoya isn't ******, he wants that promoter's cut from his fighter fighting Floyd on PPV.

Oscar is saying he wants to be more involved and what does he really have to do with his time. He should do that getting a solid boxing guy in place, but I don't think that is the immediate plan.

They ca be a licensed promoter overnight if they wanted to, its not that hard.

The big question is who is going to put up there $, to promote and market this fight.

And every other fighter haymon tales away from GBP.

you know im an Oscar hater, Gamb...i'd love to see him fall on his face but he was smart enough to get that company going...he knows his limitations...he will hire someone that will keep things going...he probably has a few people in mind...gotta remember, Oscar himself has been in the game a loooong time and knows whos who

I could see this playing out with Golden Boy uniting with Top Rank and Haymon/Schaefer/Mayweather on the other side. Personally I dont think Oscar knows what he is doing

Remains to be seen. Floyd declared he won't fight someone under Arum's banner and stuck to it. Him and Oscar have bad blood as well. What makes you think Floyd will work with him?

I think something is in the works to wrest fighters from under GBP's banner, if it hasn't happened already. I tend to think an inked contract with Haymon is just as, if not more important than an affiliation with Goldenboy, and it's faded figurehead, Oscar.,,

                      We will see.
