If anyone took the time to read dans article you'd see why. Oscar never once showed to any business meetings or did any of the leg work for the fights. He was the promtional face. Also said gbps cheif marketing officer is going to leave gbp and join with them. Losing your top execs in one go is not a good look no matter how you want to spin it.

I don't think he does, Oscar came up with Schaefer because he was his business manager and Oscar has not exactly been on the grind these last few years. He might have some names in the old rolodex, but will those guys come in knowing Oscar wants to have his say and may just go off on his own. If he is not going to listen to the dude who helped build his company, knows it inside out and has known the guys for a long time, why would he listen to some new guy other than as a yes man which is not what Oscar needs.

Newsfllash, this isn't about Pacquiao. Nobody thanks De La Hoya in their post fight interview except Canelo. Everyone cites Haymon and Schaefer for their success. Floyd will not be the only one parting ways, he's the first of a bunch.

Your right Oscar doesn't know what he's doing. But he still has tv contracts, still has deals with venues, still has deals with fighters, and most likely has a long legal battle ahead of him against haymon, his fighters, and probably Richard too.

And there's a long list of managers and promoters who will line up to help him screw over rich and haymon.

So although Oscar is still a Dope, he's still in a position of power and leverage.

Its a logical move for Mayweather. Why stick with Oscar when he is clueless? Keep your ties with Schaefer and Haymon who are much more valuable to him

He probably doesn't have to know what he's doing and I doubt he knew what he was doing when he started GBP, as far as running the company on his own. My point is, all he has to do is hire some one who can run the business like he did with Schaefer. He's gonna do that same thing again.

DLH is not a business man like Arum and Schaefer, Arum went to Harvard and Schaefer, well he's from Switzerland which has the top 3 best educational system in the world alongside Finland and Canada, and they are great at math and business. DLH doesn't really have any of these credentials at all. Switzerland has the best private banking and wealth management in the world.
