He doesn't seem to understand that his career is an investment. If he just compromises and does what's left on his contract, fights outside of Oakland, etc., maybe he won't be making Froch/Groves money now but he can cash in later.

Or he can just sue everyone and try to dictate terms way before he's a household name and end up with $0.00 minus legal fees.

He isn't a Manny, DLH, etc. He isn't a household name anywhere. If he walks up and lays his 20 million dollars to fight in Oakland terms down people will laugh at him.

      Not to mention:

Ill make the weight, no problem, Dawson said. Im still eating. I told everyone I could make 168. I wasn;t saying it to sell a fight, I was saying it because I can do it. We have talked about moving to 168 for the last few years. When I finally had the opportunity to do it, I did it.
Come on now, you seriously think Chad Dawson wanted the fight at 168? He wanted it just as much as Canelo wanted the Mayweather fight at 150.

There's a difference between being willing to and actually wanting to.

I think this is another question you raised here.

What promotion company would wan to work with him at the moment.

If i saw the way hes behaving and throw in the fact he currently cant draw jack diddly squat, then would you touch him with a barge pole if you were a promoter? He sounds like a horrible risk reward to be honest.

Perhaps he should join team Money mayweather or whatever that bullsh,it is called???

Now if he could pick any weight he wanted... Im sure he would of picked 175... but that's a far cry from Ward weight draining Dawson, and forcing him down. There wasn't a shred of banter on Dawsons part, he had zero problems with it.
He tried to negotiate a 170lbs catchweight and Ward's team said no.

I thought I read something on here that his legal issues had been decided in favor of his promoter.
