It doesn't even have to be in Nottinham, let it be in London.

why is he talking retirement? because he doesn't want to fight andre ward. i don't blame him. he can make more money fighting the george groves of the world.

things would go differently in nottingham
yeah, ward would pound on froch again and get robbed. maybe the ref carries froch back to his corner if he gets hurt.

you guys can't possibly watch boxing if you think froch is a legitimate threat to andre ward. did you see the first fight?

Like how one risks getting headbutted or hugged constantly in Oakland?

exactly. dirrell landed a ton of clean punches on froch. he behaved like a girl in a lot of spots, but he was still by far the cleaner and more effective puncher.

            he teed off on froch.

i like froch. he's a warrior. he's great for the sport.

the way brits overrate him is f#cking absurd, and evidence of their lack of understanding of the sport. it's about the laundry for them. they're much more nationalistic than american fans, who act like we've been there.

froch and ward fought in Atlantic city, and there wasn't much clinching, and no intentional headbutts or head clashes of real significance.

i know you brits suck at geography, but AC and oakland california are thousands of kilometers apart. close to 5000 kilometers apart, in fact.

you know how long a kilometer is, right?

Why should Kessler and Froch ever have come to USA? Because they're warriors, out to prove themselves.

Why do Ward's fans keep insisting on him fighting at home? Wouldn't you just be proud about him finally going out to travel?
They come to the US because this is where most of the elite level fighters are.

                  The irony is too much.

Dirrell got robbed in UK, Pacquiao got robbed in USA, that's sadly how it goes from time to time, EVERYWHERE in the boxing world. If Ward were to get robbed in England, I would still count it as a victory for Ward, even his best victory to date.

Besides, wouldn't it be cool to see Ward, who could as well be p4p #1, finally fight the toughest fight he could fight in the division?

Fact is, the toughest and most risky fight for Ward in SMW is #2 (Froch) in #2's home country (England). Wouldn't you like to see Ward take the hardest challenge possible? Any fight less of that is pointless for Ward, unless he finally moves up in weight.

It's usually where the money is but not any more especially at Super Middleweight.
