First of, I'm not saying I got a problem with his skills. He is an extremely skilled and talented boxer who could as well be P4P#1 if he was more active.
Secondly, I'm not saying I got a problem with his personality, he seems like a chill and friendly guy and I respect how religious he is, a man needs some values in life.
However... The way in which he handles his career is just horrible. He insists on always fighting at home, even against bigger names, even against guys who decided to travel to his homecountry back when they really shouldn't have to. And at home, he is permitted to give headbutts and hold all the time, no one can defeat him there. I'm not saying that Froch or Kessler would beat him, but he really should grow some balls and travel to their home countries, if he got honor and confidence in his skills. Afraid to get point deductions or disqualified when the going gets tough and the holding and headbutts comes forth?
Ward, in case you read this... You're a great fighter. But not a warrior, you haven't shown the courage of one. I think you would probably beat both Kessler and Froch in their home countries, but trust me, you will give the fans a cleaner and more respectable win there. If you were to suddenly get knocked out, you would still get respect for finally overcoming your phobia. Win or loss, if you finally take on Froch or Kessler away from home, then I will become an instant fan. You got the skills, now prove that you got the balls. Oh... And start to get active with the career, you're taking too long vacations between fights. I would be surprised if we even get a fight from him in 2014...
